Quad Linear VCO
Four linear VCOs using the 8038, using a design by Thomas
Henry, and boards by Elby Designs
(no longer available).
The switches next to the freq. control are range switches, regular
or LFO. Two CV ins per oscillator with attenuators. They're semi-normaled
as two pairs: on Osc. 1 & 2, the CV2 inputs are normaled to
the tri outputs of each other... likewise on Osc. 3 & 4. So
you have easy access to 2 pairs of cross-modulated oscillatorscomplex
rhythm LFOs, or screeching weasels in the audio range. Plugging
into CV2 jacks over-rides the normalization.
From the descriptions, these might be similar to the core functions
of the 2 Livewire
modulators (dalek and vulcan), but I have no idea if they are
in fact similar.
